Designed and built a complete new custom Farm Management Application for the operational management of Landgarnele's Glückstadt shrimp facility, engineered specifically to replace legacy Excel spreadsheets with macros.

• Replaced error-prone macro-based Excel files with a centralized, purpose-built digital farm management platform tailored to daily shrimp production workflows.
• Integrated real-time logging and analytics for tank-by-tank water quality parameters, feeding calculations, biomass sampling, mortality tracking, and FCR optimization.
• Standardized daily technician routines and executive KPI dashboards to provide transparent, real-time operational control across the Glückstadt facility.

Following Landgarnele's acquisition of HanseGarnele in 2025 (expanding Landgarnele into two operating facilities in Niedenstein and Glückstadt), Exos Aqua is leading the complete operational and technical renewal of the Glückstadt site.

• Completely renewing facility management and organizational workflows, establishing structured new operational procedures and daily SOPs across all production phases.
• Engineered and implemented a new filtration concept to transform water treatment efficiency, biosecurity, and biological system stability.
• Overhauled biological shrimp management—refining stocking strategies, water quality control, and feeding protocols to restore biological performance and improve FCR.

At Landgarnele's Niedenstein operating facility (housing both commercial grow-out and hatchery operations), Exos Aqua acted as lead consulting engineer for the design and commissioning of the pilot shrimp hatchery and trained the on-site team.

• Engineered a compact, modular 3D pilot hatchery layout designed for space efficiency, biosecurity zoning, and seamless integration with the Niedenstein grow-out facility.
• Supervised the integration of critical filtration, water treatment, and larval rearing infrastructure through technical commissioning.
• Executed intensive hands-on training for the Niedenstein personnel, establishing daily operational procedures for live feed cultivation and post-larvae (PL) rearing.

Provided technical and operational consulting for the optimization of a land-based shrimp production system. Redesigned the filtration architecture to enhance water treatment efficiency, system stability, and overall biosecurity.

• Supported the transition and fine-tuning of RAS and biofloc operations, improving nitrification performance, solids management, and dissolved oxygen dynamics.
• Assisted in establishing structured operational routines and monitoring protocols to increase system reliability and support consistent biomass growth.
